29. Taking back control of your thoughts

If you're thinking about fake scenarios you're trying to create or trying to change things that happened in the past then you're time travelling. Being stuck in these thought patterns actually causes negative impacts on your physical body. Not to mention you will be constantly stressed and anxious.

Kass shares a well known method to pull yourself back into the present moment. The 54321 method can be used to train your thoughts to be present in the moment or when you're in the middle of an anxiety attack to calm your thoughts.

Practice this:

Name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste.

Train your mind to be present in this moment and no other. Once you can master your thoughts you can master your life.
