29. Teaching Kids To Talk About Taboo Topics With Liz Kleinrock

Liz Kleinrock is an anti-bias educator and consultant based in Los Angeles, California. A transracial adoptee, Liz was born in South Korea and grew up in Washington, DC. Liz is a teacher who is known for being passionate about social justice, identity, race, and privilege. 

She is also a published author with Teaching Tolerance, and her work has gained national recognition through a documentary produced by Fluid Film, and media outlets such as CNN, The Washington Post, NPR, and The Huffington Post. Liz recently did a very successful Ted Talk about teaching kids to talk about taboo topics, and today she is here to share with us her teaching journey and to elaborate more on teaching kids about subjects that are difficult or uncomfortable to talk about for most of us. "I am passionate about making an environment where kids love to learn" Liz cried.
