If you’ve been around Mercy for a while, then you know we’re huge fans of all things practical…especially when it comes to our relationship with the Lord. If you’re new to Mercy then you’re about to find out just how practical because we’re jumping into a 2-part series called “Steps to Intimacy with God”! While our culture has trained us to think that intimacy is sex, that’s not where we’re headed. The definition of the word is actually “close familiarity or friendship,” and that’s exactly what we’re talking about: CLOSENESS with God or a FRIENDSHIP with God. We wanted to take a deeper look at what leads to the familiarity and closeness we long for in a relationship with the Lord.
