OG punk legend and business man (those two antithetical terms are not, in fact, mutually exclusive) Shawn Stern joins me for Episode 296 of Life In The Stocks. Alongside his brother Mark Stern, Shawn co-founded Youth Bridge, BYO Records and Punk Rock Bowling, the annual gathering for punks of all ages in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We talk about all of that and more in this episode, which is a great insight into not only the evolution of the US punk scene but also live events and the music industry in general. I hope to get myself out to Punk Rock Bowling in the not-too-distant future. Every year I see the line-up and I get so envious of everyone going.
