I interview Katherine Stewart, author of The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism, yet another (and one of the best) look at "the political movement that seeks to gain power and impose its vision on all of society." We interviewed Katherine about her previous book The Good News Club way back in episode 155. I know you hear this all the time, but seriously, you need to read this book and books like it in order to understand what's going on in America today, particularly with the Republican Party.
