Dr. Talha Farid, electrophysiologist with St. Luke's Heart Care Clinic, returns to the podcast to discuss lead extraction. Patients who have pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and other devices with lead wires that need to be removed, can have the procedure done at St. Luke’s Hospital, the only hospital in Cedar Rapids that performs lead extraction.
