Non-places: airports, hotels, fast food restaurants, malls.  We pay little attention to these places because they are not destinations; our time there is temporary.  Smartphones are creating a world of non-places.  We are so wrapped up in the phones that we are only searching for what else is out there and pay no attention to where we are.  Soon we will all become non-humans!
