Welcome to #29DaysofMagic day number nine! I am thrilled to have April Reign, Creator, #OscarsSoWhite and Co-Founder, SistaSCOTUS.org. We talk about how April started the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag, and how they were able to start conversations about diversity and inclusion. We talk about how consumers and actors and actresses are making changes to increase diversity and inclusion not just on the screen, but with all the people behind the cameras, running the lights, creating the costumes and all the behinds the scenes. We talk about how very important it is to get a supreme court justice who can speak to the lived experience of black women. We talk about how amazing it is that younger folks are choosing joy in their jobs and most of their lives.
