I hope you are knowing God’s blessing. This week’s service is called Nothing ventured… It’s about being willing to give ourselves to God’s service.
Our gospel reading this week includes a sad story about an investment manager who was entrusted with some money to invest, but instead wrapped it up in a piece of cloth. His boss was not best pleased!
But do we do something similar with our time, our talents or our resources? Are we willing to invest ourselves in God’s Kingdom, venturing the treasure of our hearts to bring a handsome return for our Lord and Saviour? Or do we hide it all away?
It's never too late to invest in God’s kingdom
Hearsall at Home is written and presented by Rev David Sutcliffe, with additional material this week from Sarah Lewis
The readers were Andy and Anne Thompson.
Music and songs by Martin Prue, Joan Cobb, Seb Farrell, Nick Leonard, Fran Pritchard and John Pettifer.
The written download was compiled by Jackie Pritchard.
Post Production was by Nick Leonard.
Hearsall at Home is brought to you by the members and friends of Hearsall Baptist Church, Coventry, UK City of Culture 2021.
