on one hand, i think change should be easy. people, nature, time, everything changes all the time. the hard part is when you have to make a change that negatively affects people without your best interests at heart. the seasons don't want to turn cold and harsh, but they do. that way it's even easier to appreciate the soft warmth afterward.
