In this episode, I ask my mom a few hard hitting questions about her understanding of relationships in relation to God's plan for relationships. I also unpack a little bit of my own struggles with relationships and God's plan, and we somehow end up talking about our failed experiences with celibacy?!

Often times my Mom gets the question, "How did you do it?". Statically speaking, she's seen as an outlier with the way she has raised her children but none of her labor was luck.

In this episode, we talk about how my Mom found strength but also peace of mind as a single black woman raising a man. She answers where this motivation and ambition came from, while speaking on how other parents should understand their roles as guardians.

With all of the recent drama between Jordyn Woods, Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian, and the Smiths, my one question is...why is everyone so pressed over this young woman's decisions?

In this episode, we talk about how we as people shouldn't necessarily be quick to judge others we see on social media. As commoners (for my GoT people) it is very easy for us to judge and speak down on someone else's mistakes, but ignore our own skeletons. It's easy to tweet out a hateful message about her actions but what if yours were posterized for everyone to see? Something to think about, enjoy.

As lifelong Los Angeles natives, we our fandom of the Los Angeles Lakers is stronger than most. However, Moms has consistently been an outspoken, anti-LeBron fan even with him dressing up in the purple & gold over the next 4 years.

In this episode, we talk a bit of our childhood experiences with sports, AAU ball and traveling, paying collegiate athletes, and King James & the Los Angeles Lakers. Should they pay college student-athletes? Can LeBron ever deliver a championship to Los Angeles?? Do you even like "LaBron"???

Our first and very important Q&A. Moms is always talking about how her friends in the social media realm are always asking her questions, so why not answer some?

How many of y'all have been through the waters of watching your parents date? In this episode, we talk about the experiences we've both had in dating and relationships, and maybe how I haven't been the greatest wingman for my Mama.

Insecurities. Sticks and stones will break your bones, and words will probably hurt too. We all remember the jokes and insults that friends and family would mention to get under your skin. As time has passed, these comments have either turned into an insecurity, something you have let go, or it has become something you've chosen to embrace.

Continuing the vulnerability series, in this episode we talk a bit about the embarrassment I had with being seen as a "Mama's Boy", but also how I refused to let it tout our relationship. As you mature, not only do you learn to embrace what you may have been an insecurity. More importantly, you begin stop putting too much of your energy into the negatives others may say.

As believers, depression is a very taboo subject, simply because we're children of God who know that we are above ANY name. However, we are also human. We may experience sadness, hurt, fear, knowing that we do have an adversary that does not want us to be positive or progressive in our walk of life.

In the last episode, I spoke of a lot of the difficulties that came after graduation, and my struggles with sadness post-grad. Picking up where we left off, in this episode, we peek into some of the curveballs life threw at Moms, and her bouts with sadness.
