Behold and be held in Jesus' gaze of love this week. When you go to the Blessed Sacrament this week, striving to look at Jesus and be looked at by Him, recognize and identify those distractions, those pieces of wealth, that keep you from keeping you from looking at Jesus like it did for the rich young man in the Gospel and that keep you away from the loving gaze of the Father.

If you're married, think this week how you can be more readily, more generously, more patiently receive the faults and failings of your spouse, so that you can more deeply love your spouse like Christ loves the Church.

If not married, you can still apply this to your other relationships, making sure that through the faults and failings of your neighbor, you still love them as Love Himself loves.
