The New Year sees new laws, we’ll take a look at some of the changes. And today sees the introduction of controversial congestion charges in Sweden’s second city, Gothenburg. With the new year, Sweden also takes over the presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers. But what role does the council have when all the members are involved with the European Union? School visits to theaters are on the decline, are kids losing out on access to culture? And the authorities are concerned that many secondary schools, mostly private, aren’t fulfilling their responsibility to maintain libraries.
