9: I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown,
Vision/Harvest/Dreams - Let's Plant some seed!!. That is on the forefront of so many of our minds and hearts. So many Neighbors everywhere. Farmers know better than most that the crop doesn't begin with the planting. So as for farming so too in our lives. People consider Vision Boards the beginning and ending to their all. Creating Your Vision in my humble opinion is not a party. GOD had us to go through an entire Vision Planting Series on #ThePorch during our Sunday night live-interactive Teleconferences. I struggled with what to title it. Vision Planting... Everyone else tends to say party. When I think party, I think enjoyment, fun, relaxation, etc. None of that comes to mind when it deals with outcomes and results in my life that will also impact my family and children and neighbors. So finally, GOD gave me the peace to refer to it as Vision Planting Assignment. We didn't start with the boards and I daresay for some of us we are still seeking GOD to write the vision (on tablets) to make it plain. Everything that GOD allows to bless us has a bigger purpose to bless the Kingdom of GOD. So, I was impressed upon to encourage each of us not to just Write or Post on a Board the general things that people post and write when it involves their Vision for their life. So again, planting is not the 1st step. The scripture shows the order (tilling/plowing/cultivating) must take place 1st.
In the Podcast, you will hear in more detail what "Till the Soil" means. You will find out why we till the soil. Afterwards I hope that each Neighbor tuned is better prepared for his or her own life to have a Groundbreaking. Think about it even when Buildings are going to be built, there is always a Groundbreaking Ceremony. We don't heed this action; but even in the natural, we know that nothing is built on unbroken ground. I don't know if this 2UpLiftAll Podcast was really to be shared with anyone else but it’s being put out there. Personally, I don't and didn't want to share it. This one really shook me. In fact, I think it is a part of my continued Groundbreaking. My prayer is that anyone who listens to this will be empowered to not only accept that from time-to-time you will need to experience some Groundbreaking in your life but that you will seek GOD to send you a Groundbreaker or anoint you to be your own Groundbreaker. Based on the above scripture each of you Neighbors that come to share with us on #ThePorch (be it your first time or yet another time) probably struggle with being cultivated. You may be asking yourself, do I have Ground that needs to be broken? Do I have seeds that were planted on Unbroken Ground?
Planting is a necessary step in the farming process. It is also a necessary step for crops in our life. The important concept to understand from this point forward is that it is not the 1st step.
This week's #Neighbor2Neighbor Guest is GOD HIMSELF. He truly graces us Neighbors with HIS presence on #ThePorch. I will let you can draw your own conclusions. His presence brought some realizations to my life. I hope that by the time you leave #ThePorch today that GOD will do the same for you. I hope that by the time you leave today, you are broken. So that GOD can now plant the seeds, the dreams, the harvest in your life (in your spirit) so that you can write the Vision to make it plain. So, you can then post the Vision on a Board and be at peace that it will come true. But know if you don’t feel like you have been turned upside down, mixed-up and shoveled through, you need to find yourself back in the hands of The Master Gardner. Oh, Ok I forget probably not you but you have a Neighbor that needs too. You know a neighbor whose seeds keep blowing away. Or one whose garden is...
