How Are You Living: GOD-Centered or Self-Centered?

Discussion: We are told by the world that in order to be successful we have to achieve more and do more than the next person.; We have to be better and do it better than anyone else; Coming in 2nd is not an option; In order to survive you have to look out for Number 1 (yourself). Closely related is that you must be concerned about your family more than anyone else’s family. Then GOD tells us to love our Neighbors as ourselves. We are told that the 1st Commandment is to love GOD 1st.

So, the life-long dilemma begins: do we do it GOD’s way or the world’s way? Do we dare risk caring about someone else’s needs ahead of our own? Do we help someone else at the risk of them moving ahead of us or our family? Most Christians probably if asked are you living a GOD-centered life would answer yes.
