American civics is in shambles; it’s broken. Every branch of government – from the executive to the legislative to the judicial – it’s all a mess. Maybe the saddest part is that this is nothing new. The Roman government that ruled the days of Jesus were corrupt and underhanded. How they handled Jesus and His prosecution tells that story. After He endured 3 illegal trials from the Jews, He faced 3 more trials at the hands of the Roman politicians. They too put Jesus on Trial.
