Last night (3/21) parents met with the school board in Fredericksburg, TX to show their displeasure at books that are in the middle school library. They ranged from homosexual seduction, borderline rape, drug use and shaming of religious institutions through degradation. Almost all parents in attendance were against allowing such materials in their library. Almost. The first amendment group was out, decrying the effort of the concerned parents, accusing them of witch hunts and book burnings. This very same group who would be more than happy denying said rights if it directly concerned them.
I also look at how this all started, back in the 90s when after school groups were formed for Gay rights at both high school and middle schools across the country.
Lastly, we do take a bit of a peek at 322 aka Skull and Bones.
