I have been listening to a few podcasts that mention that podcasts and streams tend to take 3-5 years of consistency to grow momentum. That time allows you to develop the craft. You are building trust in your audience that you will stay around. I can relate that I've seen growth in just the 1-3 years for my stream and my podcasts, respectively.
What would your current life look like if you keep going today on your current project(s)? Don't give up just because it might be difficult. Don't give up just because of your present numbers. The next few years may very well change that.
