Thinking that this world, especially the U.S., is not racially upside down is bafflingly ignorant. The fact that the black community has been able to accomplish the limited amount that they have despite the systemic racism that is still rampant in this world is astonishing. The world is against people of color and yet they persist. It’s heartbreaking to think how much further along we could be as a species if we simply treated people based on their character and not their color.
In this week’s podcast we speak with Jenessa White, a black woman and engineer who is working to promote black-owned business and products through the Amplify Black. Her goal is to get these business owners to grow and thrive by reaching customers online in a world that refuses to help.
