CANDLELIGHTERS SIMCOE - This organization helps families who are dealing with children battling cancer, they provide ongoing support groups, therapy sessions and education programs.

YOUTHHAVEN BARRIE - This is the only shelter in the area specifically for homeless youth, working with displaced teenagers and providing housing and programs to help them get off the street.
