David Kuria has been involved as an entertainment entrepreneur in the local Gospel music scene for over 20 years in many different capacities. He’s been involved as a music enthusiast and collector, Christian music journalist, event organiser, and artist manager. He has was the founder of Kenya’s first fully dedicated music website www.mwafrika.com, and later started the very first online music sales distribution website in www.pewahewa.com.

He served on the Kisima Awards team for a number of years, and for 13 years has worked closely with Groove Awards in different capacities - as a panel member, chair of the panel and in 2017-2018 as the Groove Networks director, and has been at the forefront of providing care and mentorship to Gospel artists in the country.  He has also managed the music careers of Juliani and Kanjii, and served as a pastor at Mavuno Church.
