Would LeBron have made 8 straight finals if the playoffs were seeded 1-16 and didn’t separate the East and West? Would CP3 or Steve Nash have made the finals if that were the setup? The NBA should want the playoffs to be as competitive as possible -- splitting the NBA by conference hinders this goal. With impacts to All-Star selections and lottery placement as well, the NBA should look to #EndConferences immediately.
