James tells us, . . . faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead (James 2:17). And he goes on to explain that we can say we have faith all day long but the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. If we do have real faith, it will play out in our actions. We can believe a chair will hold us up and then the resulting action of that faith will be that we actually sit in the chair. We may say that we believe in God but what do our actions show? Do we live out that faith, that belief in God, by actually living our lives yielded to Him?
