Welcome to 3GiG Sports!

Money and sports, what do the two have in common? Well, obviously professional athletes make a good living no matter the sport. Typically organizations make quite a bit of money off of advertisements and even gambling. But, is money starting to have too big of an impact on competition?

Two examples we bring up tonight are from two completely different sports. First we talk boxing. Nganu vs Wilder, obviously just a spectacle right? How could this possibly even end up as a close fight? As you probably have already heard, it sure was. With many people saying Nganu got the better of Wilder regardless of the result. But why?

Then we talk Vikings vs 49ers last Monday night. The 49ers have the better overall team, coach, and arguably every position on the field. Roughly 94% of bets were placed on the 49ers to win. Imagine the loss vegas would take if the 49ers ended up winning. But that had nothing to do with the outcome right? There can't possibly be any other indications of changing games due to gambling...right?

Other than that we get into our picks for the weekend, Rio's Rangers taking game 1 of the World Series, and a slew of conspiracies and wild stories. Tune in for a good time and some unique education!

Starting off with a heated topic about Caleb Williams and reports of what he will want from the team he's drafted to. It looks like this kid could change a franchise, but wanting ownership right away is insane! Slow down and earn it kid.

That branches into a bigger conversation about the Pac12 as a whole. USC came down to earth against Notre Dame and the entire conference still refuses to play defense.

After that things got a bit off the rails. We move into some work conversations including one important topic. Is a documentary a movie?! Tell us what you think!

Closing out we give our picks for the weekend and pray for an increase in scoring because this NFL season has been a snooze-fest.

Let's dive straight in tonight! In this episode we break down what teams are going to make a run for Caleb Williams. There is lots of potential out there from the Bears to the Cardinals and even Denver selling the house at this point. The problem is, they all have QBs that have previously been looked at as 'the future' for their respective teams. There is going to be some BIG movement in quarterbacks between this season and next. What are some of the landing spots?

UFC/USADA drama and ultimately Mystic Mac himself. What's going to end up happening and will Conor ever be able to live up to the hype again?

Jimmer has another wild 'It makes sense if you don't think about it' to close out the show. It makes you realize that our politicians aren't the only 'leaders' that constantly make bad decisions. This seems to be a pandemic in itself...

Welcome to 3GiG Sports!!!

After a bit of a hiatus we are back with a lot to talk about!

We kick things off talking about how Justin Jefferson's injury will impact the Vikings. The Vikings aren't going to be good, will Cousin's end up being shipped before the season ends? What teams could end up trading for him and why is the NFL making it so damn obvious that games are rigged?! We need to take a moment to talk about this!

Meanwhile the Patriots look as bad as ever, the Bronco's defense has taken the season off, and the Bears look like they have the number one pick in the bag yet again. Is Fields their guy or would they trade him and try for Caleb Williams? This conversation gets interesting.

Lastly - what does the flat earth, bigfoot, and the moon landing have in common? Ding ding thats right - conspiracy corner led by Jimmer that ends up deeper than expected.

Tune in for some die hard sports talk that's sure to entertain!

Let's start by breaking down the Chiefs-Lions Game. Was it more about the Chiefs defense or the Kelce Injury? We also saw a surprise appearance by their best defensive player, just not in the game.

Aidan Hutchinson is looking like an all pro, Cooper Kupp is likely going to the IR, and Joey B finally got paid. What does that mean for the Bengals going forward?

Then we close things out giving you some upset picks and locks for this weekends games. Don't worry - bet the house it will all be fine.

Tonight we kick the show off discussing RB draft value. Are the top running backs being taken too high? Are there any backup RBs that you are comfortable taking as one of your starters? What about upside vs consistency? When you have a top 3 pick it is SO important that you get it right.

As we move on we go over a few comparisons. Look at some of the NFL rosters right now. There is depth almost everywhere, how does that impact your draft decisions?

Lastly - You have probably seen the story. Michael Oher just learned that the 'family' that helped him ultimately get into the NFL, might have pulled off one of the biggest swindles in modern sports. BUT let's be honest...he has to share some of the blame right?
