This weekend we celebrate our Fathers. The men who impact our lives in so many ways. The men who raise us, teach us, and provide for us. As we express our thankfulness for our fathers we also focus on our Father in heaven.

As Jesus fulfilled His mission here on earth He had access to supernatural power. The truth is we have the same resources available to us that Jesus utilized to accomplish His mission. In our current series called HABITS, we are learning the resources Jesus had available to Him and working to develop habits that help us engage these resources.

The third resource we will look at this weekend is the resource of Prayer. Jesus took time often to get away from His work and pray to His Father. He also taught His disciples how to pray. This weekend we want to reexamine prayer to our Father. We want to grow our HABIT of interacting with our heavenly father so that we can have the power we need to live our lives with the purpose God has planned for us.
