Procrastination is the act of delaying or putting off tasks until the last minute, or past their deadline. Some researchers define procrastination as a "form of self-regulation failure characterized by the irrational delay of tasks despite potentially negative consequences.
At some point or the other we all have been a victim to procrastination.
Well... I certainly have and I have tried many things and metal models to overcome procrastination in my life. Some kinda worked and some did not.
Then I learned a new way of handling procrastination and this one seems to work the best so far.
So... when I have a task at hand and I know I have been avoiding it for sometime now...and it would common wisdom to understand that it is a classic case of procrastinating my work; here is what I do.
I use the first 2 working hours of my day to do just that and nothing else...and I mean absolutely nothing else.

This has helped me get a lot of tasks done in the past couple of weeks.
This is how I got this episode out first thing in the morning.
I hope this trick helps you to overcome procrastination and to actually get things done.
