In this episode, we discussed the 3 keys to starting a business and improving your career. Selling, Marketing, and Improving your craft are the 3 things you need to work on to build a solid business and career.  Practicing these activities helps you gain confidence which is built by taking action. 

There are tons of people out there who dream day and night about one day starting their own business. So why don't they?! Well, Eddie and I think it's because of a lack of confidence. These dreamers are doubting themselves and that in turn has them doubting their product or business.

Any time someone comes to me with this issue, I simply tell them one thing... don't be afraid of sucking. The truth is, EVERYONE will suck in the beginning of starting something new. I wasn't an exception and you sure won't be either.

Everybody, including all those people who look confident, has a fear of not being good enough. This is known as the imposter syndrome. But, whatever you do, you can't let this hold you back from taking action towards achieving your dreams. You’ll have fewer regrets in life if you start getting used to taking action.

All this is not to say you won’t have some stumbles, bad breaks, and self-doubt. However, once you outlast these fears, you gain confidence and momentum that help you find the energy and focus needed to do amazing things. Businesses are about momentum, not perfection!
