Yet another serial killer show (so original), Swarm (Amazon Prime, from Donald Glover & Janine Nabers) turns a long standing misogynistic stereotype about fans into their villain. According to these guys, female fans of fictional Beyonce are more threatening than literally any other demographic, including rabid violent sports fans and uptight gatekeeping male music fans. Will Hollywood ever get tired of serial killer fiction? Especially garbage ones like this show? Will they ever be done glorifying killers or scapegoating mental illness and mental health?
