I love a good kiss…and Im not gonna lie, I love a good French kiss. When I go to kiss my wife hello goodby or for any reason and she French kisses me… wow knocks me off my feet… and thats where we are going today.

Ok, so we covered verse 5 that any rebuke even an open rebuke is better than No rebuke at all. Don’t worry about the heart, the source or the situation or even the environment… be glad that you got the rebuke… but now we see how it can even get better if we get a rebuke from a friend. 

6 Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.

**A better way is to hear it from a friend, than an enemy. 

“Bob can we talk about something”? 

IT HAS BEEN SAID:

God does not change us 100% -he changes us 70% and then gives us friends to work on the other 30%

Maybe a good idea is to surround ourselves with with Godly friends so we get Godly friendly rebukes…

There was one other phenomenon that Diamond noted to its extraordinary implications. Subjects listening to tapes of ( known deceits—even though the speakers seemed to be telling the truth and sounded convincing-tested weak physically. 

AND THE OPPOSITE WAS ALSO TRUE:

Subjects listening to truths though the speakers told these things in aggressive and hurtful ways, the listeners tested strong. 

WHERE AM I GOING WITH THIS… The rest of the verse says kisses from an enemy do you no good. Regardless of what they say and how good it feels… they are lies. 

**So kisses may feel good, but if they are lies you don’t change and even become weaker physically!

Kisses prove nothing. 

Kisses mean nothing to a person… they only make you feel good.

Beware of these three kisses

 - the kiss of flattery. Just what it is… flattery. It simply makes you feel good, but adds nothing to your character. 

 - the kiss of comparison. I think you are so much better, smarter, stronger, younger, etc… than the other person. 

 - The kiss of bitterness dripping in guile

They disapprove of someone and let you know that you are so much better.
