Deddy talks about how he left the house right after highschool. His dad told him to pay for everything himself including tuition and boarding using his skill as a magician to make money. Deddy thinks was good for him to leave the hosue.

For Erik growing up in the Netherlands it was normal to leave the house after highschool and it taught him to take care of himself. Erik's parents paid for his education so he had it slightly easier than Deddy.

Are you still staying with your parents, for some of you this is your comfort zone and you need this. However life is about setting your own path and that is hard when you live with your parents.
