"1 in 8 men have a common mental health problem". In this episode we're joined by Amir Jabari a.k.a founder of Bookey (a second generation Iranian) to discuss the mental health struggles that men face and how the struggles are exacerbated within our own ethnic communities. From high rates of mental health problems being reported in BAME, to the lack of support provided to open up, we discuss how our ethnic cultures perceive mental health and why we are unable to open up easily to our family or even in our society that we live in.
