Today I interviewed Margo Ivanova, one of my Advanced level students who has been studying English since the first grade and with me for a semester.  She talks about her language knowledge as she studied French Philology (Language) at university and Spanish.  She speaks and understands around six languages and has wonderful experiences travelling.

Idioms used: 
Back against the wall = when you have no other options
Scrape the barrel = when you have to do the best with very little
Up in arms = when you are angry
