Finally, they find a couple of bright spots in Tuesday's election results.

First, Greg and Jim walk through the dismal results in the Senate, House, and in key governorships - not only in the high-profile races but some that were big surprises. And the winning margins for Democrats were also staggering.

Next, they consider why the Democrats likely dominated the midterms. They both point to cost of living concerns and specific policy decisions that were costly. Greg also notes how the Democrats hit the right buzzwords even though they have no real solutions for these concerns.

Then, Jim and Greg look ahead to what the next two years will look like with President Trump in the White House facing big Democratic majorities in the House and Senate. They also briefly consider how this impacts the start of the 2028 cycle.

Finally, Jim and Greg find a few reasons to smile in Tuesday's election results.

Jim and Greg offer them a refreshing dose of reality - not that it will do them any good.

Next, they fume as all ballot scanners go down in Westchester County, New York. Officials are now scrambling to fix machines and to keep the lines moving. Jim and Greg find this utterly inexcusable for election officials who had months to make sure everything was working correctly.

Then, they laugh as Trump loyalist-turned-hater Tucker Carlson says the U.S. and Israel may be just days away from using nuclear weapons against Iran. Jim explains why there's almost no chance Tucker is right.

Finally, they laugh at the garbled closing argument for the midterms from former Republican and current lefty commentator Ana Navarro.

Next, they shake their heads as PBS and Politifact try to downplay expectations of concrete election results on Election Night. Jim and Greg explain how, with some exceptions, we should absolutely expect to know who won on Election Night and should not accept anything less.

Then, they react to the United Airlines CEO and college economic professor looking to make the Death Tax much more painful. The CEO also wants to institute a wealth tax. Jim and Greg have a simple suggestion for him.

Finally, they roll their eyes as Virginia officials restored the voting rights of a dog that died five years ago. But the story gets even more insane. As you vote tomorrow, consider what's happened in Virginia since it went blue last year.

Jim explains how Obama has a long history of trying to distract us from terrorist connections and they both hammer him for making health care far more expensive than before Obamacare.

Next, Jim takes us through his research into the debate over Rep. Omar's age, why it matters a lot for her immigration status, and the mystery surrounding her father's immigration to the U.S. Jim also explains what the likely story is about the role of Omar's dad in the Somalian genocide and refugee crisis.

Then, Greg and guest host Scot Bertram welcome the New York Times exposing Mary Peltola's U.S. Senate campaign and other Democrats for actively trying to find other candidates named Dan Sullivan to run this year in order to confuse voters and siphon off votes from incumbent GOP Sen. Dan Sullivan. Greg and Scot discuss how this might impact the race and how the report finally forces the media to cover a story Republicans have been complaining about for months.

Finally, they shake their heads as Florida U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, seems pretty clueless about whether communists run the Cuban government.

The student also said she was surprised the right-leaning speaker didn't have protection for his neck. While this is not every leftist college student, there are way too many who do think this way.

Next, they discuss Virginia Democrats trying to pass a constitutional amendment to allow felons the right to vote as soon as they walk out of prison while Gov. Abigail Spanberger's parole board is busy letting violent criminals out of prison at a much higher rate than the previous GOP administration.

Then, they roll their eyes at reports that CBS reporters aggressively pushed back on Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss wanting to pursue extensive coverage of the Dems' Alaska Senate scandal. 

Finally, they bite into the rising cost of Halloween candy and add some other Halloween observations as well.

Finally, Greg and Scot review polling numbers showing a wide disparity in which values matter most to voters in the two major parties. They discuss the huge divide on patriotism, equality, responsibility, and other principles.

First, they slam a despicable new ad from Cenk Uygur's Rebellion PAC in support of Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, blaming rising prices on Israel. Jim and Greg point out the obvious, deep flaws in the ad and also note that, as of this recording, neither El-Sayed nor his campaign had denounced the ad.

Next, they scratch their heads as 2022 Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso endorses Mayor Karen Bass for re-election against socialist Nithya Raman. But after four horrible years of failed leadership under Bass, Jim and Greg wonder why Caruso decided to endorse in this race at all.

Then, they thoroughly enjoy the news that Korean researchers have determined that paper straws are worse for the environment than plastic straws. Besides noting the environmentalists are wrong yet again, Jim and Greg discuss the stupidity of paper straws and the decades-long war of paper vs. plastic bags at the grocery store.

Finally, they shake their heads as Florida U.S. Senate candidate Angie Nixon, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, seems pretty clueless about whether communists run the Cuban government.

Finally, they react to Alaska Sen. Dan Sullivan's new ad featuring a song that explain how he he wants Alaska voters to approach the ridiculous ranked choice voting system next week.

Welcome to Last Call, a look at the biggest stories Jim and Greg covered over the past week on the 3 Martini Lunch.

This week, they discuss Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar's answer to whether she married her brother, the radical left in France continuing to burn down the nation's history and culture, another fake polling firm getting exposed, and a special anniversary for our podcast.

First, they react to Rep. Omar being asked by MSNOW whether she married her brother and Omar answering "not to my knowledge." That's a major shift from her previous responses and comes as Omar is the subject of an intensifying immigration fraud investigation.


Next, they fume over the left continuing to riot and destroy in France. Somehow "protests" over education are leading to widespread arson and other destruction, including the torching of the historic town hall in Limoges. Jim and Greg explain why this chaos has nothing to do with the stated issues and how weak the French government looks in response.

Then, a second polling firm has now admitted that it fabricated results and was just trying to see how easy it was for media outlets and others to accept their results with little to no scrutiny.
