Wayne is a large county in Northwest, Michigan, Home to my city Detroit aka Motor City. Commissioner Mccormick represents District 6 within Wayne County. She ran and won her re-election in this new district with 87 percent of the vote to become the first African American commissioner in Redford Township and continues to proudly serve part of northwest Detroit in the community where she was born and raised.
