In this first episode in a series exploring our identity we discuss balancing our citizenship in heaven with our citizenship as Americans. What's the difference between patriotism and nationalism? How we do be keep our allegiances order in a biblical way?

Christmas is a celebration of God's extravagant love. It's one of the times of the year when we pause and marvel at just how valued we are by our creator. In the middle of the all the hustle and bustle of Christmas, how do we reflect that love to those around us? How do we care for others in tangible ways?

Peace. Christians are supposed to be about peace but when we look out into the world, if you read the headlines, it is not very peaceful. So as Christians, how do we bring about God’s peace? If you want peace, must you prepare yourself for war? How do we protect the powerless, care for our enemies, and honor God? Does allegiance with the kingdom of God require a non-violent ethic? 

What does God have for me, right here and now? How can I participate in what God is doing? How do I lead in the places that God placed me in? What does it look like to lead in my family?

What's the litmus test? What criteria do I use to determine if I'm going to let someone into my life; to let God use them in my life? Can God use people who see the world differently than me in my life? Are there some differences of opinion that would justify me severing ties with them?

What does God say about love and romance?  What's the value of marriage? What's the value of singleness? Join us today as we explore ways God's process of sanctification in all seasons. 

Today we are taking about Christmas traditions, both the weird and endearing, the respected and ancient as well as the surprisingly new. What is the true meaning that Christians can find in Christmas among the many traditions we have to navigate. Where does Jesus fit into it all? 

The holiday are a time for family and community! They're a time for joy and celebration. But what do you do when you are surrounded by people but still lonely? How do we break the cycles of loneliness? How can we be a blessing to others and be blessed by them as well? In what ways can community help?
