The Yapping Hermit

3. My Story [Part 2]: Breaking Generational Cycles & Finding Myself

Listen Later

In this second part of my introduction, I’m picking up exactly where I left off in last week's episode and share the messy and transformative chapters and initiations that shaped who I am today. (plus a whole lotta keepin' it real)

I talk about:

  • my ADHD diagnosis, medication, psychiatry, and reclaiming my identity outside of society's idea of "productivity"
  • my uni struggles, imposter syndrome & skin-picking / hair-pulling as subconscious tactics to stay small & invisible
  • claircognisance & the need to prove my knowledge
  • how the point of getting that degree was to break karmic / generational cycles of unworthiness
  • guilt, boundaries & the relationship with my parents
  • how Astrology and Human Design helped me find back to myself

Also, I'm sorry about the cracking sounds throughout this episode. I recorded this sitting on an old wooden chair, which has become a lil' creaky with age and I'm still learning how to edit my audio properly. So thanks for your patience while I figure this out. 🫰

Aaand as promised:

Here's the Podcast that made me see how harmful psychiatric labels can be and really helped me stop over-identifying with my ADHD diagnosis: back from the borderline

And here's my mentor's website: flow&power (German only though)
