From inception to National Champions! For 26 years, Becky Burleigh led the Florida Gators Women's Soccer team in the ultra-competitive Southeastern Conference.
Becky has won 3 national championship and was the 1st female head coach to win an NCAA Division 1 national championship defeating the defending national champion UNC tar heels in 1998 in only the Gators fourth year of existence.
We were lucky enough to get a few minutes with Burls along with her college coach and mentor, Joe Perreira, to recount her amazing soccer journey.
As with all great Coaches, Becky imparts some unique insight, wisdom, and advice to aspiring collegiate players and fellow coaches alike.
