Today, our condition perfectly fit to the seventh church-Laodicea.  It is by this church of lukewarmness that the time of Christ appearing will be realized but Christ provided us with three saving advice;

1.  Buy of pure Gold--- Christ Grace

2.  Buy of White Raiment---Christ Righteousness

3.  Buy of eye salve---Holy Spirit

He described this church as a strange mixture of flesh and spirit. Apparently blinded by its compromising posture, it seems unable to recognize the true nature of its nauseous, lukewarm state.

Worse Than Infidels.--Halfhearted Christians are worse than infidels; for their deceptive words and noncommittal position lead many astray. The infidel shows his colors. The lukewarm Christian deceives both parties. He is neither a good worldling nor a good Christian. Satan uses him to do a work that no one else can do (Letter 44, 1903).  {7BC 963.6}

He offers eyesalve to overcome the blindness,  white raiment to overcome the nakedness,  and gold to overcome the poverty

There are many who long to help others, but they feel that they have no spiritual strength or light to impart. Let them present their petitions at the throne of grace  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."  {Messenger, January 4, 1893 par. 2}
