Anna interviews William, who has spent much of his adult life fighting off homelessness in San Francisco. He discusses the safety and health threats he experienced in shelters, as well as the purpose he found while writing poetry and helping others out of the cycle of homelessness. However, William remains equally familiar with the tragic endings of those who never break the cycle.
