The current economy is heading for collapse by 2035 due to three main factors. The first is resource depletion; humanity has already used the easiest-to-access resources, like oil and metals, which makes everything more expensive to obtain. The second factor is the rise of AI and robots, which are replacing human jobs in sectors like customer service and manufacturing. This will lead to higher unemployment and less consumer spending.

The third factor is climate and ecological collapse, which will reduce food supplies, drive up costs for things like lumber and insurance, and potentially lead to the collapse of food systems. With a national debt of over $35 trillion, the US government will be unable to address these crises.
