Hey everyone! I wanted to celebrate my 38th birthday with you by sharing a little bit more about me, my running journey and how my daughter Izzy, a childhood cancer survivor, inspires me to push through any of my own nagging running injuries to get to my first marathon this fall. This is my story of how a couch to 5k and a fundraiser for childhood cancer research got me started on running, which is now my coping mechanism for all things that ail me.
