3 Steps to Calm the Inner Critic
This week, one of my clients came to her session and said she’d had a life-changing breakthrough.
She thought she had a sales problem.
But what she realized was much bigger than that.
She had a self-punishment problem.
She was laboring over every detail of her business.
Constantly consumed by how she was coming across.
Dwelling on her skill gaps.
Fixating on what wasn’t working.
And trying to use self-critique as the thing that would finally make her better.
But that’s not how it works.
Self-punishment does not make you more successful.
It does not make you better at sales.
It does not make your business safer.
It just keeps you exhausted, overworking, and stuck inside the belief that something is wrong with you.
