This weekend we continue in our march toward Christmas. We are studying through the first chapter of John's gospel in a series called "THE GIFT". Now we all know It is better to give than receive, that is unless you are receiving a gift that God gives. John the Apostle teaches us that God loved us so much that He gave himself to us. He did this so that we could be transformed into the people God created us to be.

Our journey through this powerful chapter, brings us to verses 14-18. The big idea from this passage is that God gives gracious truth. When God comes to earth in Jesus he comes in a gracious, faithful, loving, and truthful manner. His intent is to connect with us and draw us to himself and restore the relationship by bringing us into His family. This week we will discover that God in Jesus, is a relational God who offers us the greatest of all gifts, the gift of himself.

Join us as we continue to focus on the greatest of all gifts ever given, the gift of Jesus, given by God to save us all.
