House Hunting can be fun, and it’s even more exciting when you find that one spot that looks like it could be your next home.
When that happens, we tend to focus on the qualities we love, but overlook smaller details that can have a impact on your day to day living.
Here’s 3 things to look for in a new Home...
1) LOCATION– Be sure to find out what else is in the neighborhood... Are there schools, shops and public transit nearby? Is there regular snow removal and garbage pickup?
2) SIZE OF ROOMS – A 4 bedroom house might look great at first, but if one of those rooms is the size of a closet, it’s not going to be useful. Check that each room has the right amount of space for whoever will be using it.
3) NATURAL LIGHT – A good amount of natural light can cut down on your electricity bill and impacts your mood. Have look at all of the windows and ask how much daylight regularly comes in; nobody wants to live in a dungeon.
