Come for the cute animal allegory, stay for the holy-crap-they-force-marched-these-people-miles-in-the-woods-at-night-and-left-them-packed-like-sardines-standing-up-in-train-cars-only-opening-the-doors-to-collect-the-dead-and-that's-AFTER-the-war-was-basically-over. Remember-- these are people, that did this to other human beings.
