Our kids want us to trust them. There's just one problem. We often can't. Sometimes they aren't ready for more freedom. And sometimes they have shown that they aren't trustworthy. But trust is a big issue for our kids. But when we don't trust them, what does that communicate to them? And how can we help them learn to be more trustworthy so they can be prepared for the freedom they will have as they get older?
