In this episode we're discussing the love story/satire that is "WALL-E". It takes inspirational elements from silent films all the way to Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey." This film follows a robot named WALL-E who stands alone compacting trash 700 years after humans abandoned the earth they destroyed by their consumeristic ways. However, his world is turned around when another robot, EVE, comes in search of a plant. WALL-E fall in love with EVE, and when she's almost taken from him, he chases her into the stars. This is where he finds the reason EVE came in search of a plant and a population of humans in desperate need of awakening.
