In this episode I give you a quick guide to making nutrient filled choices to nourish your soul.
Often in my life I felt like going for the TV, the sweet snack, the hit of a joint even, in order to care for my mental health. It felt like survival.
But, I realized in order to truly care for my mind, body, and spirit I have to make choices that hold “nutrients” in it so that I can get what I need to not just survive, but rejuvenate, grow, heal, learn, and overall feel peace in the ups and downs of life.
It’s not terrible to eat chips at times or have a dessert; it’s okay to check out and watch TV a lot one night. But are you balancing? Are you making sure you’re giving yourself enough nutrients in all the ways?
