3. Withins

I heard a prophet’s song

and it inspired me to sing.

He sang to;

“The one who holds the sun’s fire”.

He asked “How am I to describe?

the one who holds the sun’s fire?”*

We describe God in our Being.

As life stretches back into glory.

We are described as God’s breath

in our shared religious stories.

Ontological Oneness though seems to solve all of the riddles,

eases burden, changes yokes, inspires charity big and little.

I sought out God’s face,

and God showed me all my friends.

God is not without, God is not other,

but is patiently waiting within our withins.

‘Science’ and ‘religion’ now sing the same tune

though they refuse to listen.

God is pouring out God

as moments of existence for us to Christen.

What is this all about? Life!?!?

And why does suffering get to join us?

And when will kenotic-love

once again become humanity’s chorus?

I sought God…

and God showed me all my friends.

And gave me eyes so I could see

the fractals of God within Withins.
