Today's episode of Free Mama Radio was previously recorded during the Diversity in Business panel at Free Mama Live. It was too good to keep private, so we're sharing it here today!
Of course, diversity goes well beyond business, but to keep it in alignment with our responsibility as business owners, mothers, and humans, we knew that this was a conversation that needed to be included in our community.
I sat down with two professionally trained inclusion and diversity experts, and you're going to hear all about their background and how they got into this line of work, as well as some really hard and uncomfortable but oh so important questions and topics.
Charmin Rickards is a retired Lieutenant Commander who served over 22 years in the United States Navy. Before she retired, she served as Deputy Diversity Officer, which launched her career in diversity and inclusion. Today she works in affirmative employment program management for the federal government.
LaDonna Sanders Redmond is a food justice activist. She started working in the world of food justice because her son developed food allergies at a very early age. She helps build fair food systems and food access for communities.
Join us for an episode of learning, self-reflection, and growth.
